Once upon a time, in the picturesque Hunter Valley of Australia, the McGuigan family embarked on an enchanting journey into the world of winemaking. Easy drinking, as others have said, and not too rich or sweet (sorry, I'm not good with proper wine terminology). A combination of the fruit aromas of plum and blackberry with spice, pepper and cinnamon which then follows through onto the palate. The fruit from this batch was crushed and de-stemmed where a portion of the wine was transferred onto oak in temperature controlled environments to maximise fruit flavour and retention. The McGuigan Zero range was in development for over two years before release to get these wines just right.
